Lasher made his Marvel Comics debut in 1993's Venom: Lethal Protector. The character is a green symbiote created from one of Venom's "seeds," who originally bonded with a security officer to fight in a dystopian war. Although Lasher and the other symbiotes became guardians, Venom and Eddie Brock kill his host, fearing he would turn evil like Carnage. Lasher was then imprisoned until the military released him.

The Last Dance Will Likely Be The Final Venom Movie
Per the official synopsis, Venom: The Last Dance sees "Tom Hardy return as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance." The movie also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.

Ejiofor, who is believed to be playing the villainous Orwell Taylor, recently praised director Kelly Marcel and Hardy for his performance in the threequel. "It was fantastic to work with Kelly in that world and to engage with a really special character that Tom has danced with," he said. "When you see on set when Venom arrives, you're like, 'Wow.' It's a real sort of moment. Tom can be standing next to you, and you'll say, 'Venom's here!' He's created something pretty remarkable," the actor added.

Actor Juno Temple previously shared her thoughts about the film. Describing it as a "wonderful ride," she said, "It's so new to me. It's a big set! This is crazy. It's been so much fun and I got to work with such cool people. I've been so lucky in my career to just have the most incredible casts. I can't wait for it to get out into the world. I think it's going to be a good one. Temple also shared her thoughts on Hardy, saying, "I don't know if anyone else could play Venom. That's a tough pair of shoes to follow."

Venom: The Last Dance hits theaters worldwide on Oct. 25.
