Ahead of its release next month on October 4, the Irish Film Classification Office (IFCO) has confirmed that the film will have a runtime of 137 minutes and 49 seconds, meaning Joker 2 clocks in at just over 2 hours and 17 minutes.
Compared to 2019's Joker, which had a runtime of just over two hours (121 minutes and 38 seconds), this means the sequel is over 15 minutes longer than the first instalment.

Starring Joaquin Phoenix, who reprises his Oscar-winning role as Arthur Fleck, Joker 2 sees Lady Gaga join the cast marking her DC debut as Harley Quinn.
Set for release on October 4, the sequel is yet to receive an official synopsis, but we do know the movie will incorporate musical elements.
Speaking during the CinemaCon panel, director Todd Phillips said of the film: "We never really talked about it like that, but I like to say it's a film where music is an essential element. To me, that doesn't veer too far from the first film."

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga recently opened up about portraying Harley Quinn, teasing a "very authentic" version of the iconic character.
"You know my version of Harley is mine, and it's very authentic to this movie and these characters," Gaga said in an interview with Access Hollywood.
"I've never done anything like I've done in this movie before, so it's all going to be completely brand-new and really fun."
Joker: Folie à Deux is scheduled for a cinema release date of October 4. Joker is available to buy on Blu-ray or streaming now.
