Per The Numbers, Deadpool & Wolverine is now 11th on the all-time sequels list at the U.S. box office. Released on Jul. 26, the third Deadpool movie and first under the MCU umbrella has earned $582 million Stateside, $26 million behind the 10th-placed sequel, Incredibles 2. The most recent daily report saw the team-up movie make $1.6 million across 3,840 U.S. cinemas on Aug. 28.

Deadpool & Wolverine has earned $1.219 billion at the global box office, furthering its status as the most commercially successful R-rated movie ever. Deadpool & Wolverine is now the 7th-highest-grossing MCU film, passing Iron Man 3 ($1.215 billion) after recently toppling Captain America: Civil War. The Shawn Levy-helmed effort will likely remain in 7th barring a huge surge, with the next MCU blockbuster in the rankings, Black Panther, having made $1.349 billion.

In Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds and Jackman's eponymous antiheroes are tasked with a major Multiverse mission by the Time Variance Authority's Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) to preserve the sacred timeline, with Deadpool facing the potential loss of his loved ones. The film introduces the MCU to the mutant era, featuring several characters from 20th Century Fox's X-Men universe, including Sabretooth (Tyler Mane), Pyro (Aaron Stanford) and X-23 (Dafne Keen). The film also sees its main characters take on Emma Corrin's chief antagonist, Cassandra Nova, who threatens to warp the timeline for personal gain alongside her hired guns.
Boasting one of the best audience scores on Rotten Tomatoes for an MCU film ever (95%), Deadpool & Wolverine also included several surprise celebrity cameos, including Wesley Snipes' Blade, Jennifer Garner as Elektra and Channing Tatum's Gambit. The film also saw Chris Evans' MCU return, though he played The Fantastic Four's Johnny Storm/Human Torch rather than Captain America.
